The Encon AQ100 Aquarion® Self-Contained Cartridge-Fed Eyewash Station is an ANSI Z358.1-certified emergency eyewash designed for locations where plumbed potable water is unavailable or impractical. Utilizing Encon's innovative Aquarion® sealed cartridge system, the AQ100 provides dependable emergency eye flushing while reducing maintenance requirements and helping ensure flushing fluid remains protected until needed.
Designed with a compact, space-saving footprint, the AQ100 can be installed in areas where traditional gravity-fed eyewash stations may not fit. The enclosed pull-down activation tray protects the eyewash heads from airborne contaminants during standby operation while providing immediate access during emergencies. Its lightweight design allows for easy installation on walls, columns, shelving systems, carts, and other convenient locations throughout a facility.
The AQ100 operates using the Encon AQ120S sterile saline cartridge set, which contains two sealed 3.7-gallon saline cartridges for a total flushing fluid capacity of 7.4 gallons. The self-evacuating cartridge design provides a consistent dual-stream flow for a full 15-minute ANSI-compliant flush while keeping the sterile flushing solution sealed and protected from contamination. Ideal for industrial facilities, laboratories, warehouses, utility operations, manufacturing plants, and remote work locations, the AQ100 delivers reliable emergency eye protection without requiring a permanent water source.
