Drones for military use are an effective means of surveilance of an area that is unsafe and also a great way to avoid casualties.  When it comes to OSHA, the use of drones is becoming more of a reality!  Initially they were being used following worksite accidents and for areas that were considered too dangerous to enter.  But now it is becoming an efficient way to scope out a facility for inspection.  Currently OSHA can only use drones when it is agreed to by the employer.  There is a fine line that OSHA or any organization should not cross so that its trade secrets cannot be compromised.  Unless an emergency warrants the use of a drone or an employer agrees to the use of a drone during an inspection, then that strategy should be acceptable.  Drone use is going to increase dramatically in the very near future.  It just depends on how far the reach goes.  When used as a helpful tool to help save lives and used as the first line of access to a hazardous situation, it can only benefit everyone.  But there needs to be a rules so that rights are not violated.  Read more in EHS Today about OSHA Drones.


Return Policy


Our Policy
Your Satisfaction is very important to us.   Please contact us if you are not 100% satisfied with the item or items that you purchased from Select Safety Sales.


Returns

Customers should contact Select Safety Sales if they decide that they need to return a product within 30 days of delivery so that we can issue a RA (Return Authorization). We will provide you with a shipping address with the RA (Return Authorization).  Please DO NOT return items without the RA and shipping information. Most returned items will incur a 15% - 25% restocking fee.


Opened and Used Items

Only unopened items in their original package can be returned- unless it is a damaged item.


Shipping and Special Handling Fees

These charges are non-refundable except in cases where the product is damaged.


Damaged Incurred During Shipping

Any damages or losses incurred during shipment should be reported to Select Safety Sales immediately.  Please be sure to inspect all merchandise for any physical abnormalities or obvious damage upon receipt from the carrier. Damages reported after 30 days will become the responsibility of the customer.   If the product has been damaged during shipping and it needs to be returned and exchanged for a replacement item, simply email us at returns@selectsafetysales.com with the details so that we can rectify the problem for you.  You may also call us at (866) 864-3495 or fax us at (732) 381-4365.
 

Incorrect Item Received

If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us immediately with the product name, item number and quantity so we can provide instructions for the return and have the correct item shipped to you.


Custom Orders

We are not able to accept returns of custom-made products for any reason other than defect.


Cancellations

If you wish to cancel, or change all or part of an order, we suggest that you call (866) 864-3495 immediately to speak to a customer service representative.  Once the order has left the warehouse, any cancellation or changes to the order will be subject to a 15%-30% re-stocking fee, depending on the item. The customer is responsible for shipping charges.


Instructions for Returning an Item

1.    Call or email us for your RA number and return shipping address.
2.    Do not write the RA number on the box.
3.    Ship the item in its original box.
4.    We suggest shipping the item back to us using UPS or FEDEX so that you can track
        your package. If the item gets lost and does not make its way back to us, we will be
        unable to issue a credit.       
5.    Your credit will be issued to the same credit card that was used when the order was
        placed. (less shipping and handling charges)
