The Encon AQ100H130 Aquarion® Heated Cartridge-Fed Eyewash Station is an ANSI Z358.1-compliant self-contained emergency eyewash system designed for cold-weather environments and locations where maintaining proper flushing fluid temperature is critical. Combining Encon's innovative Aquarion® sealed sterile saline cartridge technology with an integrated heating system, the AQ100H130 helps facilities provide reliable emergency eye flushing protection while significantly reducing maintenance requirements compared to traditional portable eyewash stations.

Unlike conventional self-contained eyewash units that require routine draining, cleaning, water treatment additives, and refilling, the AQ100H130 utilizes Encon AQ120S Aquarion® Sterile Saline Cartridges. These sealed cartridges help protect the sterile saline flushing solution from contamination while simplifying maintenance and improving emergency readiness. The closed-system design helps eliminate many of the challenges associated with traditional gravity-fed eyewash stations while ensuring flushing fluid remains protected until activation.

The AQ100H130 incorporates an integrated heating system designed to help maintain flushing fluid temperatures within the ANSI-recommended tepid range in cold-weather applications. This makes the unit particularly well-suited for outdoor installations, unheated buildings, remote job sites, utility facilities, oil and gas operations, mining locations, and other environments where freezing temperatures may impact traditional emergency eyewash equipment.

Using Aquarion® self-evacuating cartridge technology, the AQ100H130 delivers a consistent dual-stream flow capable of supporting ANSI Z358.1 emergency eyewash performance requirements. The cartridge-fed design reduces maintenance burdens while providing dependable emergency eye flushing capability wherever plumbed water is unavailable or impractical.

The AQ100H130 operates using Encon AQ120S Aquarion® Sterile Saline Cartridge Sets, which provide the sealed flushing solution required for system operation. Facilities that do not require heated operation may also consider the standard Encon AQ100 Aquarion® Eyewash Station.
