 Hand Protection Safety

Hands are one of the most commonly injured body parts in the workplace. OSHA requires employers to provide appropriate hand protection based on job hazards.

  • Select gloves designed for the specific task (cut, chemical, heat, etc.)
  • Inspect gloves before each use for wear or damage
  • Replace compromised gloves immediately
  • Train employees on proper glove use and limitations

Using the right hand protection helps prevent injuries and keeps operations running efficiently.
