Must be Included on Carbon Dioxide and Halotron Fire Extinguisher Orders - Even if Only Purchasing a Quantity of One (1)



Hazardous Materials Charge is Based on Weight of Shipment:
    » Up to 70 Pounds of Fire Extinguishers in One Box = One Hazardous Material Charge of $27.50

Extinguisher Weight = Fire Extinguisher + Extinguishing Material
    » Example: (Approximately)
          »  2.5 lb. Fire Extinguisher + 2.5 lbs. of Extinguishing Fluid in the Extinguisher = 5 lb. Shipment

The Schedule Below Shows the Approximate Amount of Fire Extinguishers Purchased and the Charge That You Will Pay for the Required Hazardous Materials Charge.

  • Approximately Twelve (12) 2.5 lb. Fire Extinguishers      ($27.50 for this box)
  • Approximately Six (6) 5 lb. Fire Extinguishers     ($27.50 for this box)
  • Approximately Three (3) 10 lb. Fire Extinguishers     ($27.50 for this box)
  • Approximately Two (2) 20 lb. Fire Extinguishers     ($27.50 for this box)

* Keep in mind that when shipping these types of fire extinguishers, it is required by law that a hazardous materials charge is assessed if the fire extinguishers are shipped by UPS.  If the quantity of the order is large enough to be shipped by truck, then the hazardous charge can be waved.  Please contact us for more information.
