Speakman's SE-695 Combination Shower is a floor mounted emergency deluge shower and comes equipped with the SE-495 non-aerated plastic Eye/Face Wash Bowl.  This Speakman economical combination shower is supplied with a 1" NPTF stay-open full flow ball valve which is activated by a triangular pull handle.  Eye/Face Wash has a 1/2" NPTM stay-open full flow valve activated by a push handle.  Pulling the triangle handle activates the emergency showerand to shut off the emergency shower, the valve needs to be manually closed. Activation of the eyewash is done by pushing the handle back 90 degrees.  Testing of the combination eyewash and emergency shower should be done weekly simply by flushing the line to ensure proper operation.  A tag is supplied which should be initialed at each inspection.
