Auto Safety & Travel Safety     

Whether a mile from the house or on a drive to the mountains, a travel safety kit should be in the trunk of every automobile on the road today.  In case of an emergency, a well stocked travel safety kit should contain the supplies that would be necessary to keep you safe in an emergency.  Safety on the road is extremely important.  Whether there is an accident, a weather-related problem or  dark dangerous road, be secure that you and your family are prepared with the supplies that are needed for travel safety.

Most travel safety kits will contain first aid supplies that are often needed in a road side emergency or a minor emergency while traveling.  You never know when you or one of your family members could be caught in a severe storm on the road or become lost in unfamiliar surroundings.  At the very least, be sure that they are equipped with a travel safety kit and/or first aid kit.  Some other items to keep you safe on the road include travel blankets for severe weather, mace in the event of personal attack or animal confrontation, and a bright flashlight with plenty of batteries.
