The Universal DC 9 Volt Ionization Smoke Alarm with a Silence Button & Battery Drawer has a 3 year limited warranty, operates with a 9 volt super heavy-duty battery, and is made with a QuickDraw battery drawer.  The alarm is 85 dB loud and has a silence button to avoid nuisance alarms. This smoke alarm is listed to the UL217 Standard and has two locking features which are tamper resistant.
