: An eye wash station is necessary in all industries that handle chemicals and hazardous materials. The temperature of the flushing fluid is just as important outdoors as indoors. Most are concerned about the temperature in the winter going below 60 degrees and not being ANSI compliant, but another concern is the flushing fluid exceeding 100 degrees. This can happen in industrial areas without air conditioning and outdoors where sun exposure heats the water to uncomfortable levels. When installing an eye wash station, take into consideration all seasons and climate changes.

The 3M Respirator Cartridges listed below are used used for the 3M 6000 Respirator and the 3M 7000 Respirator. 3M Respirator Cartridges and 3M Respirator Filters are specifically used on 3M Respirators only.

When choosing a respirator or respirator cartridge, do an analysis of the threat before choosing your respirator cartridge. Cartridges by 3M protect against a wide range of breathing dangers from particulates and chemicals. OSHA also requires fit tests to ensure the proper fit for workers who use respirators. Remember that an appropriate change out schedule must be developed by a qualified professional unless the cartrdge has an end of life indicator. An even more conservative change out schedule may be necessary if exposure is greater than normal.
