Speakman's SE-364 Single Element Thermostatic Mixing Valve is capable of supplying 25 gallons of tepid water per minute which is enough for several emergency eyewashes.  The SE-364 comes with ball valves, check valves and a surface mounted enamel coated cabinet.  The SE-364 mixing valve is set at the factory to deliver 85ºF outlet flow.  The thermostatic cartridge responds to changes in the hot and cold water supplies.  If the element fails, the valve will provide cold water flow.  With the new ANSI Z-358.1 2009 standard, it is now mandatory that the the water be not just tepid, but be between 60 and 100 degrees fahrenheit.  Thermostatic mixing valve should be vandal resistant with the use of lockout/tagout.
