Water Jel Fire Blanket by First Aid Only is an imperative burn aid product to keep in your first aid arsenal.  Being one of the most critical tools to have in case of fire, when wrapped around a victim, this full size 6' X 5' Water-Jel® fire blanket helps stop the burn progression, eases the pain, cools the skin, protects against airborne contamination and stabilizes the victim for transportation.  This water jel blanket adequately covers a patient or can be used to douse a fire or dangerous white phosphorous (The agent is used in artillery shells, bombs and mortar shells which burst into burning flakes of phosphorus upon impact).  Plastic container has a handle and can be stored or used with Water-Jel mounting bracket #M-4005. Shelf life of water jel blanket is 5 years.
