The Speakman SE-690 Combination Shower is a floor mounted emergency deluge shower and comes equipped with the SE-490 non-aerated Eye/Face Wash.  Combination shower is supplied with a 1" NPTF stay-open full flow ball valve which is activated by a triangular pull handle.  Eye/Face Wash has a 1/2" NPTM stay-open full flow valve activated by a push handle.  To activate the emergency shower by pulling the triangle handle.  To shut off the emergency shower, the valve needs to be manually closed and activation of the eyewash is done by pushing the handle back 90 degrees.  Testing of the combination eyewash and emergency shower should be done weekly by flushing the line to ensure proper operation.  A tag is supplied which should be initialed at each inspection.
