Respirator cartridges on this page are interchangable among all of the Advantage respirators including the half face Advantage 200LS Half Mask Respirator, the half face Advantage 420 respirator, the Advantage 3000 Full Face Respirator and the Advantage 4000 Fullface respirator.  MSA Advantage Respirator Cartridges by MSA protect against a wide range of breathing dangers from particulates and chemicals. Combination cartridges can be purchased to protect against the various respiratory threats.  The Advantage line of particulate respirator cartridges chemical and combination cartridges are approved under 42 CFR Part 84.  OSHA also requires fit tests to ensure the proper fit for workers who use respirators.  Remember that an appropriate change out schedule must be developed by a qualified professional unless the cartrdge has an end of life indicator.  An even more conservative change out schedule may be necessary if exposure is greater than normal.  Only the company or individuals using the cartridges can determine when the change out time is by having a professional analysis of the air prior to choosing the correct cartridge and time of use.  Use the MSA Respirator Cartridge Chart below to assist in choosing the correct cartridge for the application:
