The Eflare UB290 LED Warning Beacon is a compact, intrinsically safe safety light designed for emergency response, transportation, industrial operations, hazard marking and other applications requiring portable 360-degree warning illumination. Its selectable flashing and steady-on modes allow the beacon to be adapted to different operational requirements.

The high-visibility UB290 combines a clear Fresnel lens, fluorescent body, reflective strip and high-output LEDs to improve conspicuity during daytime, nighttime and low-visibility conditions. It provides a reusable alternative to pyrotechnic flares without producing flame, heat, toxic fumes or residue.

How the UB290 Operates

Rotate the UB290 lens to select flashing or steady-on operation. The positive-activation microswitch helps prevent the beacon from being switched on or off accidentally during storage, transportation and deployment.

When the beacon is activated, a battery-status indicator is visible through the top of the lens. Green indicates satisfactory battery condition, amber indicates an intermediate level that should be monitored, and red indicates that the batteries should be replaced.

Remove the batteries during extended storage. Batteries should not be replaced in an area where an explosive gas atmosphere may be present.
