Encon 02100000 Remote Alarm Capable Flow Switch for Emergency Showers & Eyewash Stations
The Encon 02100000 Remote Alarm Capable (RAC) Flow Switch is designed to detect water flow through emergency shower and eyewash systems and provide an electrical signal for remote alarm activation and monitoring. When an emergency unit is activated, the flow switch automatically detects water movement and closes an electrical circuit, allowing connected audible alarms, visual warning lights, building management systems, or remote monitoring equipment to be activated.
The unit includes a relay rated for 120 VAC operation and provides normally open and normally closed dry contacts for flexible integration into facility safety systems. Suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation, the flow switch can be incorporated into emergency response notification systems to improve incident awareness and facilitate rapid response.
