Speakman's SE-360 Thermostatic Mixing Valve is an SE-362 Themostatic Mixing Valve for use on single or multiple eyewash applications that includes the check and ball valves for the supply line.  Enerything else is identical.  The SE-360 mixing valve is set at the factory to deliver 85ºF outlet flow and is made of a thermostat housed in a brass casing.  The thermostatic cartridge responds to changes in the hot and cold water supplies and if the element fails the valve will provide cold water flow.  With the new ANSI Z-358.1 2009 standard, it is now mandatory that the the water be not just tepid, but be between 60 and 100 degrees fahrenheit.  Thermostatic mixing valve should be vandal resistant with the use of lockout/tagout.
