The Kidde i12060 wire-in smoke alarm, also known as the 21006376 (formerly #1276), is a AC/DC powered ionization smoke alarm which operates on a 120V power source and with a 9V battery backup. The battery can easily be replaced because of the front loading door for easy replacement. This enables the replacement of the battery without the removal of the smoke alarm from from the mounting bracket.
