Safety Tip of the Week:

An eye wash station is necessary in all industries that handle chemicals and hazardous materials.  The temperature of the flushing fluid is just as important outdoors as indoors.  Most are concerned about the temperature in the winter going below 60 degrees and not being ANSI compliant, but another concern is the flushing fluid exceeding 100 degrees.  This can happen in industrial areas without air conditioning and outdoors where sun  exposure heats the water to uncomfortable levels.  When installing an eye wash station, take into consideration all seasons and climate changes.

Kimberly Clark Professional A60 Kleenguard Coveralls are constructed of a patented three-layer fabric that feature a middle layer of microporous film.  It allows heat and sweat vapor to escape and passes ASTM F1670/1671 testing for penetration of blood, body fluids and blood-borne pathogens.  The thicker outer layers provide even better protection of the film barrier against tearing and abrasion. This results in the ultimate combination of durability, comfort and protection. It is designed with no seams in the front of the garment which is usually the primary splash zone.  Packed in 24 coveralls to a pack.
